The Garden Chapel has hosted over 70 weddings in the past twenty years, but was around and used as a chapel long before that. Allow yourself to be transferred back to 1898; this beautiful Chapel is located in the heart of Greenfield, Indiana. A charming small town east of downtown Indianapolis. The Garden Chapel is a beautiful white chapel that makes you feel like you are living out a fairy tale from the past. When you walk inside, it has a beautiful high ceiling, stained glass windows, and church pews. This is for every bride and groom who wants to get married in a church, yet not have all of the rules, and stipulations that most churches have to follow. Inside, is definitely modern, and contemporary, yet still has a lot of character and history! The Garden Chapel is for any bride and groom who wants to have a simple, beautiful, and elegant wedding without spending a fortune! The owner loves to work with clients and incorporate their personal style into each wedding.
The Garden Chapel was built in 1898 and has been around for 121+ years. Trina had the vision to turn this beautiful Chapel into a wedding venue, so she decided to restore the church. What started as a dream, soon became a reality. After a ton of renovations, hard work, and dedication, Trina became a very successful business owner. She is the founder of The Garden Chapel. Now, after owning and running the business for over 19 years, she is ready to let her baby go. Morgan Thomas will take over running and operating The Garden Chapel and hopes to make Trina proud and to carry on her dream and legacy, while still finding ways to incorporate her own ideas and make it her own! I have always loved helping people. I am currently a teacher, but I have always wanted to pursue another passion, which is true love and weddings. I fell in love with weddings back when I got married in 2016, to my partner in crime. I loved planning out every detail, working with vendors, and most importantly picking out my venue, which I had dreamed about since I was a little girl. I want to use every trait that I have accumulated from being a teacher, such as organization and facilitation, excellent communication, and planning skills. I pay attention to detail and want Brides to feel stress-free when they walk into my Chapel. I remember how stressful wedding planning can be, and I want to help brides and grooms feel more at ease and make sure they know they are taken care of here. I also remember how much stress was caused by finances while planning my wedding, so I want to help people to be able to get married without breaking the bank. I can’t wait to work with future brides and grooms, and witness the very beginning of their incredible story! Full disclosure: I may get more excited & emotional than you! I feel at peace knowing teaching & wedding planning is exactly what I’m meant to do!
“One of the most stressful parts about wedding venue hunting, was finding one that I loved, but also one that I could afford. I wanted to have a venue that is beautiful, yet also creates a way for brides to get married without breaking the bank.” -Morgan Thomas

"This is a beautiful chapel in a very convenient location. Out-of-towners had no trouble finding the chapel. We chose our own officiant who was warmly welcomed. Our photography team was allowed free reign not only for the ceremony but also in the dressing rooms and outside the chapel. There is a loft, which provided the perfect place for our DJ to set up the equipment for our ceremony's music. For those who want more traditional music, there is a piano available as well. And as others have mentioned, decorations are provided: candles and candelabras, pew bows if you'd like, flowers, and an aisle runner for a small fee. The inside of the chapel is gorgeous as it is: it has a very warm, friendly feel with its brightly-colored stained-glass windows that allow big beams of light to spill into the chapel. The perfect place for a beautiful, no-pressure wedding!"

The Garden Chapel was a cute little chapel with beautiful stained glass windows and a large arched wooden door of the entrance to the chapel, that made for a grand entrance of bride and father. The couple that owned the chapel were so kind and helpful. They displayed most of the decorations, we only added pew bows. They were also very helpful and flexible with reserving of the chapel. My husband is in the military and we had to change our date, they were very understanding of the situation and very cooperative in resetting our date.

I LOVED THIS PLACE!!!! It was incredibly helpful to have a church already decorated and ready for a wedding. The people could not have been nicer and the place was beautiful. The price was also extremely affordable. I think that anyone who does not have a home church should get married here.

"What a beautifully restored chapel! It is such a great location just outside of Indianapolis. This really is a hidden treasure. Many churches require you to pay large amounts of money as members or non-members, but Garden Chapel allows you to bring in your favorite pastor for the ceremony with no extra fees. It is a one time cost, for an alloted time period on your day. It also includes time for the rehearsal the day before the ceremony. It has beautiful candelabras, which are lit for the ceremony. She also includes a Unity candle, and two family candles. She will also let you use her pew decorations in your own colors for a very small fee. It is one less thing to worry about on your big day!!"
